I extend my sincerest congratulations and thanks to the Triskelion International Kingdom of Bahrain (TIKOB), headed by its Grand Triskelion.

Congratulations because TIKOB, now approaching only its Fourth Anniversary on June 24, 2008, has done so many things that all Triskelions can be truly proud of, such as its Gawad Kalinga projects for Mindanao which has built several houses for our homeless kababayans, as well as medical missions and much needed assistance to the Filipino contract workers in Bahrain. Truly, TIKOB has become a hero to our modern day heroes - Bayani ng mga Bagong Bayani.

Thanks because the achivements of TIKOB has assured my faith and that of every Triskelion in the greatnes of our Beloved Fraternity. It has deeply gladdened me to see that the fruits of our efforts had blossomed even in what was once unfamilliar territory. Who would imagined at that time, when we established what was then known as the Order of the U.P. Triskelions, that it would reign supreme not only in the University of the Philippines, not only in the whole Philippines, but in the entire world as well. We owe it to our Brothers and Sisters in Bahrain that our Beloved Fraternity has spread Its goodwill across the globe and has thereby lived up to Its guiding principle that "Man is Brother unto Man."

Once again, my profound thanks and congratulations to TIKOB.

The 4th year Anniversary of Triskelions International Council - Kingdom of Bahrain (TIKOB) and Induction of the Judiciary Branch, Executive Branch, Legislative Branch and Unit Officers of the Grand Council 2008-2009 will be on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at Zinj, Philippine Embassy (Bahrain).

 Celebrations theme focus on the environment which had started last June 1, 2008 spearheaded by National Executive Committee Premier Guy Lopez and the Triskelions of Pangasinan Provincial Council in the Philippines.  They had volunteered to plant 100 paper trees along Km. 117, National Road in Brgy. Unzad, Villasis, Pangasinan.

"Kapit Kamay sa Kalikasan" is fraternal contributions to global warming awareness program of Tau Gamma Phi (ΤΓΦ) in celebration to 40 years founding anniversary on October 4, 2008.

The 2008 Philippine Independence Day Parade in New York City took place on June 1, 2008 at Madison Avenue, following the tradition of the celebration being on the first Sunday of June.

This year’s theme is Tribute to Filipino Excellence: Likas na Karunungan, Kakayahan, at Kahusayan

06 June 2008 at the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh during the joint Filipino Migrant Workers & the 110th Philippine Independence Day celebration. As part of our commitment to extend better community service among fellow OFWs particularly in Riyadh, KSA we have distributed cold beverages for FREE to approximately 4000 spectators of the above celebration. This community project is being done annually since TAO-Rc’s establishment on 04 October 2000.

Tau Gamma Phi and Tau Gamma Sigma of Mid-Atlantic Region conducted another service project to the Filipino community in the D.C. area last Sunday, June 1st in celebration of the 110th Philippine Independence Day.

The Philippine Independence celebration was organized by PATC and Tau Gamma Phi Mid-Atlantic Region, Alpha Phi Omega District of Columbia Alumni Association and other various Filipino club as its volunteers.
