In celebration of the Philippine Overseas Worker’s Welfare Administration anniversary, the third "Fiesta ng OWWA" project of the Triskelion International- Kingdom of Bahrain Council will be held at the poolside area of Delmon International Hotel in Manama from 1PM to 7PM on the 23rd of May 2008. This day will be filled with live entertainment and a surprise guest from the Philippines, mouth-watering delicacies from our sponsors, fun and laughter with our traditional games, and a showcase of Philippine products and services. The program will culminate in a Flores De Mayo parade by our representatives from different communities and exceptional fashion designs provided by our friends at the Circle of Fashion.

Through good times and bad times, our very own Fiesta culture must go on. Proceeds of the event will be used to finance "Tuloy-Aral", a scholarship program of the Philippine Government for the underprivileged and deserving street children to acquire an elementary education. This will also be extended to support the Triskelion Charity Fund of TI-Bahrain. Northeast Triskelion, Inc. has designed a scholarship program for eligible Triskelions or their children because we believe that through education a Triskelion will have the voice and the capability to help stop poverty, hunger and disease; with education a Triskelion can pioneer his own business for additional source of income.
