The TI-Bahrain Council Congratulates–Outstanding Triskelions of TGF: "Triskelions Grand Fraternity Elects Interim Officers for North America and International Councils"

CORONA, California - The only worldwide fraternity founded in the Philippines with over 500,000 members, the Tau Gamma Phi, also known as the Triskelions Grand Fraternity, concluded a three-day international summit here on January 11-13, 2008 — where regional heads participated in electing interim sets of officers for the North America Council and the International Council to foster the unity and growth of the organization.

Roy Ordinario one of the founding fathers of the fraternity in 1968 said, "my participation in this event is to serve as a guide, and not impose control on the management of the fraternity. I have confidence in our Triskelion leaders to pave the way towards progress,"  he said. " We should continue advocating unity, and for everyone to excel in their chosen fields of endeavors in the countries they now reside."

The elected interim officers in the International Council are Dr. Alfred Fajayan, president; Dr. Tony Anastacio and Ted Mogol, vice presidents.

The North America Council will be headed by Atty. Jojo Karagdag, president; Roy Somano, and Art Liguidliguid, vice presidents for internal and external affairs.

Other countries will soon have their council officers that will be elected by their respective regional leaders.

The international summit was hosted by the fraternity’s Southern California Region headed by Manny Bordaje, and was coordinated by the Los Angeles Chapter’s president, Yammy Paredes.

The confab was concluded by Atty. Ramoncito Ocampo, president of the Triskelions Grand Fraternity Foundation with a strong statement, "sa pagkakaisa, wala ng atrasan ito (to unity, there’s no turning back)!"

The fraternity was founded in the University of the Philippines on October 4, 1968. Chapters were later organized in other schools.

Today, the Triskelions Grand Fraternity has formal regional organizations and chapters all over the world, composed of alumni who are productive members of society, entrepreneurs, politicians, and professionals.
