ΤΓΦ Triskelions’ in a Dynamic Enterprise

Monching Ocampo (UP ’71, far right) gleam in agreement at the culmination of the Triskelions’ Grand Fraternity and Sorority (Tau Gamma Phi / Sigma) International Council’s Third International Summit held last Saturday, August 23, at the Marriott Residence Inn-Silicon Valley in Milpitas.

The event hosted by the Fraternity/Sorority’s Central and Northern California Regional Councils under the supervision of the U.S.A. National Council and attended by International Council officers and members from the various U.S. regions, Europe, the Middle East and the Philippines, was part of a series of summits held since January of this year, with a fourth scheduled in Metro Manila to coincide with the Fraternity’s 40th foundation anniversary.

The North American Celebration will be done October 4th in Newark, New Jersey with real time streaming video from both venues. The Fraternity/Sorority has grown Globally with members in the International workforce residing in the economic hotspots worldwide. The Fraternity/Sorority’s vision is to have a cohesive database of all the members with councils to be structured in the same manner from the largest national council to the smallest barangay unit.

The potential for the organization’s manpower could impact endeavors of local, national as well as global proportions. Peralta and Lopez are two of the highest ranking Fraternity officers from the Philippines.

18 August 2008 The Chairman of the Caledonian Society -Awali has confirmed support to Ang Mga Likha ni Juan dela Cruz. CS-Awali is an organization composed of British Nationals.
The American Women’s Association has just signified support to Ang Mga Likha ni Juan dela Cruz. The AWA is perhaps the largest women’s association here in Bahrain.

The Riyadh Triskelions’ held its 4th Triskelion Basketball Inter-Color Opening on June 27, 2008 which attended by Vice Consul, Hon. Rousel Reyes of Diplomatic Quarters, Philippine Embassy, visitors from IPSR and Hammadi Hospital, entertainer bro. Francis Flojo, Most Distinguished Guardians and a token of appreciation to all brothers and sisters that participate on this energizing activity.

I extend my sincerest congratulations and thanks to the Triskelion International Kingdom of Bahrain (TIKOB), headed by its Grand Triskelion…

Congratulations because TIKOB, now approaching only its Fourth Anniversary on June 24, 2008, has done so many things that all Triskelions can be truly proud of, such as its Gawad Kalinga projects for Mindanao which has built several houses for our homeless kababayans, as well as medical missions and much needed assistance to the Filipino contract workers in Bahrain. Truly, TIKOB has become a hero to our modern day heroes - Bayani ng mga Bagong Bayani.

Thanks because the achivements of TIKOB has assured my faith and that of every Triskelion in the greatnes of our Beloved Fraternity. It has deeply gladdened me to see that the fruits of our efforts had blossomed even in what was once unfamilliar territory. Who would imagined at that time, when we established what was then known as the Order of the U.P. Triskelions, that it would reign supreme not only in the University of the Philippines, not only in the whole Philippines, but in the entire world as well. We owe it to our Brothers and Sisters in Bahrain that our Beloved Fraternity has spread Its goodwill across the globe and has thereby lived up to Its guiding principle that "Man is Brother unto Man."
