Once again, Tau Gamma Phi and Tau Gamma Sigma of Triskelion International Kingdom of Bahrain Council (TIKOB) is extended their precious time for On-The-Spot-Painting-Contest 2011 and Dental Outreach which held last Friday, October 28th at A-Áli in Philippine School.
The contest had a theme of "Peace Born from Equal Prosperity" which referring on the United Nations, 8 Millennium Development Goals. Final grades were evaluated by the Board of Judges: Engr. Sagar Sugathan of Dar Al Khaleej W.L.L., Dr. Analyn R. Bengson of Mohammed Hafad Dental Hospital & Br. Joesinor Belvis of Ministry of Social and Development.
On senior division 1st Place: Rashleen Hannah Glang 93.6 %, 2nd Place: Fatima Abdulrasool 91%, 3rd Place: Almina Ella Borlagdan 86% while in junior division: 1st Place: Liza Angelica Abuy 90.6%, 2nd Place: Genesis Aguilar 86%, 3rd Place: Bon Jasmin A. Framil 80%. Winners were awarded with trophies and certificate of recognition will be provided to all participants.

The free Medical Mission and Dental Services is one of the yearly projects of Tau Gamma Phi and Tau Gamma Sigma of Triskelion International Bahrain Council which started in May 2005. The event covers general medical and dental services to the needy families, students, POLO-OWWA wards and expatriate workers currently residing in Bahrain to be held on 07 October 2011 at the Philippine Embassy (POLO-OWWA) premises and Dental Check-Up at the Philippine School Bahrain.
It is now 8th of the series of medical campaign in cooperation with medical practitioners from different institution in Bahrain and other volunteer Nurses, Dentist’s, Pharmacist’s and Medical Technologist’s in partnership with the Bahrain Financing Company (BFC), where all together believed that health is our wealth.

A moshpit of surprises, as it never fails to hold me in awe on how it was capped by a most remarkable event in my life, somewhat, to an extent, I feel, the need to share with TIKOB, because through our beloved fraternity, I was able to find my other halfwing, whom I am bound to share Life’s flight from hereon.
In our hearts, we felt that TIKOB is part of the bigger picture. But then again, our fairytale is another story that merits another page…perhaps, an audience, in the near future.

Despite the scorching Bahrain summer, nothing can put off the desire and commitment to reach out and serve the less fortunate. This noble deed was proven by Tau Gamma Phi and Tau Gamma Sigma of Triskelion International Kingdom of Bahrain Council on their recent charity concert entitled “Pinoy Bands in Concert - Part 6” in collaboration with the Filipino community, other nationalities, and Caravan Group of Hotels, along with the full support of the Philippine Embassy.
The repertoire was held last Friday, July 22 from 3pm to 7pm at the poolside of Delmon International Hotel, Manama, and was hosted by Mr. Rommel Liamco and Ms. Abigael Aquino. The awarded Filipino bands were residents of Bahrain International Hotel (Pink Lilac), City Centre Hotel (Rock n Soul), Delmon International Hotel (Circa 5), and Windsor Tower Hotel (N – Control). Inspirational speeches about Gawad Kalinga were delivered by the Philippine Consul General to Bahrain, Hon. Sahid S. Glang while the organizers shared their appreciation to all sponsors and viewers.
